On Saturday, 9 May, our Red Dove Opportunity Shop on Angourie Road, hosted an exciting and vibrant Fashion Parade

showcasing many preloved clothing and accessories, that brought the community together to raise money for The Yamba Public School Breakfast Programme.

110 attendees went into the draw for lucky door prizes and enjoyed a parade featuring nine categories, including popular themes such as A Day at the Races, Sleep Wear and The Boho Look. The models were volunteers from the Op Shop and congregation members. After the main event, there was a sensational afternoon tea provided in the Church Hall.

The inaugural fashion parade raised $900, and plans are now underway to continue building on this initiative to further combine community engagement, sustainability and fundraising in 2027.
